The Tour de France 2026 passes through Lagrasse – July 7

It is with great excitement that we will get to see the 2026 Tour de France will pass through the beautiful medieval village of Lagrasse on July 7, bringing with it the energy and excitement of one of the world’s most iconic sporting events.

Starting in Carcassonne and finishing in Foix, this stage of the Tour de France will take riders through the stunning landscapes of southern France, passing directly through the heart of our village. For just a few hours, the usually quiet streets of Lagrasse are expected to transform into a vibrant scene filled with the sound of the peloton, the colors of the teams, and the enthusiasm of spectators.

Known for its wild, mountainous landscapes and winding roads, the Corbières wine region is, throughout the year, a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts. On this occasion, we are delighted to host one of the stages of the greatest cycling race in the world, welcoming some of the finest international athletes in an exceptional natural setting.

This year’s Tour is divided into 21 stages, beginning on July 4 in Barcelona and concluding on July 26 in Paris. It is during Stage 4 that Lagrasse becomes part of this remarkable journey.

Experiencing the Tour de France pass through our small village of Lagrasse will be a wonderful experience. A day that will undoubtedly remain in the memory of those who experience it.
